Liamoo and Samir & Viktor meet the forecasts and travel directly to the final of the Melfest

Sweden today celebrated the second semi-final of the Melodifestivalen 2018, the country's legendary pre-selection for Eurovision. Seven new candidates have competed for the two places that lead directly to the grand final, Liamoo and Samir & Viktor, and for the two that guarantee them a second chance in the repechage, the Polish Margaret and Mimi Werner. The sovereign audience has decided the results.

David Lindgren has been the master of ceremonies of the second semifinal of the Melodifestivalen 2018 from the Scandinavium of Gothenburg from 20:00 CET. The grand final will take place, as it does every year, at the Friends Arena in Stockholm on Saturday, March 10, with a total of 12 nominations for the contest. Sweden will compete in the second Eurovision 2018 semifinal that will be held on May 8, 10 and 12 at the Parque de las Naciones in Lisbon, Portugal.
